Perfect Opportunity to Give to US Giving to Maher
Giving Tuesday kicks off a five-day sequence leading up to International Volunteer Day on December 5, 2026, in partnership with the International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE). Watch for our posts on social media and visit this site on this international day of giving.
We were honored to have Maher Founder Sr. Lucy and Director of the Maher Production Department, Shirly Antony, in the US for the Love in Action Tour. From September 22nd to October 28th, the pair traveled to Denver, Seattle, Whidbey & Orcas Islands in Bellingham, Portland, Santa Clarita, Ca., Omaha, Ne., Vermont, Southern Maine, New Hampshire, Dover, Fl., and Rochester and Staten Island, NY.
What would exhaust most people, only gave energy to Sr. Lucy, who greeted each attendee with love, and who shared her infectious laughter and her message with enthusiasm and import.
We are pleased to report she returned safely to Maher in India. US Giving to Maher organized the Love in Action Tour that spread the message across the country, grew our friend base and raised needed funds for the burgeoning buildings and programs at Maher.
